Privacy Policy

Effective October 9, 2026. This policy covers the owner's personal archive backup utility and this public information website.

Data accessed and purpose

The utility accesses Google Drive file contents, names, identifiers, folder structure, sizes, timestamps, and storage quota information as required to store and verify the owner's backups. It obtains OAuth access and refresh tokens from Google to perform authorized operations. Source archive files are read from the owner's authorized Yandex.Disk account.

Storage and protection

Backup data is stored in the owner's designated Google Drive. OAuth credentials and tokens are stored in access-restricted configuration files on the owner's computer and backup server. They are not published on this website or committed to a public source repository. The utility uses encrypted HTTPS connections to cloud providers.

Use and disclosure

Google user data is used only to provide the personal backup functions requested by the owner. It is not sold, used for advertising, transferred to data brokers, or used to train AI models. Data is transmitted to Google Drive for storage and processed on the owner's backup server. Access is limited to the owner and their authorized administration of the backup utility.

Client Archive Backup's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and revocation

Backup files remain in Google Drive until the owner chooses to remove them. Tokens remain in protected configurations while the connection is needed. The owner can revoke the application's permission at Google Account connections and remove the local and server configuration. Revoking access does not automatically delete stored backups.

This website

These pages do not use analytics, advertising, forms, or application cookies. The hosting provider may process ordinary connection metadata such as IP address and request details to deliver and secure the website. No archive contents or OAuth tokens are sent to the website host.
